OH, MY!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GATORS ?!!!

 Oh my, what happened???  Gators played terribly on last Saturday in Miami, Florida.   

Final score:  Miami 26 Florida 7  

First thought:  Miami has one of the best QB's in the ACC and SEC - Carson Beck, who had completed two years as the starting QB for the Georgia Bulldogs in his 5th year of college, decided to forgo the NFL draft.  He returned to college football for one more  year after healing from an injury suffered in the last game of the season at Georgia.   Miami was more than happy to offer him the QB role  and now Miami is a  "team to beat" in the ACC .  

Florida needs to get it together by next Saturday , Oct 4th, when they play the Texas Longhorns, with QB Arch Manning (another top QB in college football!)

Opening game of the 2025 season, Florida 55 Long Island 0 - August 30 2025

 As expected, the Florida Gators took care of business, winning over Long Island University easily on Saturday night in the Swamp. The final score was 55-0.  The Gators looked sharp on offense and defense and it seems the Long Island Sharks lost their bite!  It was a great day to be a  Gator!
