 My thoughts, D J LAGWAY is doing great under the circumstances..the Gators have a good chance to win in the Swamp today , the only negative would be lack of a coach for now...

OH, MY!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GATORS ?!!!

 Oh my, what happened???  Gators played terribly on last Saturday in Miami, Florida.   

Final score:  Miami 26 Florida 7  

First thought:  Miami has one of the best QB's in the ACC and SEC - Carson Beck, who had completed two years as the starting QB for the Georgia Bulldogs in his 5th year of college, decided to forgo the NFL draft.  He returned to college football for one more  year after healing from an injury suffered in the last game of the season at Georgia.   Miami was more than happy to offer him the QB role  and now Miami is a  "team to beat" in the ACC .  

Florida needs to get it together by next Saturday , Oct 4th, when they play the Texas Longhorns, with QB Arch Manning (another top QB in college football!)

Opening game of the 2025 season, Florida 55 Long Island 0 - August 30 2025

 As expected, the Florida Gators took care of business, winning over Long Island University easily on Saturday night in the Swamp. The final score was 55-0.  The Gators looked sharp on offense and defense and it seems the Long Island Sharks lost their bite!  It was a great day to be a  Gator!  The Gators are ranked #17 in the college football preseason coaches  poll.  They are in the top 25 for the first time  since 2021.  Things are definitely looking up for the Gators, now if D J Lagway can just get over his recent injury!

Tremendous Win over #9 Ole Miss Saturday 11.23.2024

What a great win  on Saturday over $9 Ole Miss .  Also winning over  one of those "arrogant" coaches makes it even better.  Looking like the Gators can beat any team right now so on to the FLORIDA  - FSU game next week! 

It appears  the Gators have clinched a bid to a bowl game after all.
