Even though the game ended with about 9 mins to go because of the weather - rain & lightning - it was really over by half-time. Western Kentucky was just no match for the Gators, and the Gators played like they had just "picked up where they left off." One notable interview during the telecast was with former Gator QB Shane Matthews (early 1990's) who said he was impressed with the way Tebow played today, showing more maturity as the QB.

Tebow ran out of bounds following a short gain and got a forearm to the chest from Western Kentucky's Cody Hughes.
"I think that was the hardest hit of the day," Tebow said.
It certainly was one of the few times Tebow was touched.
