Opening game of the 2025 season, Florida 55 Long Island 0 - August 30 2025

 As expected, the Florida Gators took care of business, winning over Long Island University easily on Saturday night in the Swamp. The final score was 55-0.  The Gators looked sharp on offense and defense and it seems the Long Island Sharks lost their bite!  It was a great day to be a  Gator! Florida Gators ranked no 17 in preseason poll

 The Gators are ranked #17 in the college football preseason coaches  poll.  They are in the top 25 for the first time  since 2021.  Things are definitely looking up for the Gators, now if D J Lagway can just get over his recent injury!
