The next three weeks will define the season for the Florida Gators as the Gators face Alabama, LSU, and Auburn. First challenge, this Saturday night at 8 PM the Gators host the Crimson Tide of Alabama in the Swamp. Just another SEC game? No, not quite. Alabama comes in to town ranked no. 3 in the AP poll and no. 2 in the Coaches Poll. Can the Gators play with the big boys? We will find out tomorrow night - Go Gators!

Gators moving on up after defeating Kentucky
I'm sure that Gator fans are excited and happy as they read the latest polls today - both the AP and Coaches Polls have the Florida Gators moving on up to the #12 spot. The convincing win at the University of Kentucky last night is the reason why. The Gators are playing the best football that I have seen in two years. At 4-0, they don't get to rest either. The next three games are going to be the toughest teams to face the Gators this season! We will finally get to see what this year's Gator team is made of - they play Alabama, LSU, and then Auburn. Go Gators!
Click to read ESPN recap - Jeff Demps had 157 rushing yards! It was amazing watching him kick it into high gear last night!

Gators survive 4th quarter Tennessee comeback!
The Gators had a great game plan yesterday - give the ball to Chris Rainey. Rainey carried the ball 21 times for 108 yards and caught two receptions for 108 yards! I must give Tennessee credit for making this a tight game during the last quarter (my nails are missing today!) But the Gators held on for 10 point win, 33-23.

Gators win second game of the season
As expected, the Gators had an easy win over the University of Alabama at Birmingham Saturday night. The final score was 39-0. I actually recorded the Florida-UAB game while watching a very exciting Georgia vs South Carolina game. It was too late for me to stay up and watch the 4th quarter, but I did not miss anything as the game was over by the 3rd quarter. John Brantley played well, but I thought the highlight reels belong to Chris Rainey (1) , running back. He seemed to be in every other play during the first three quarters, very impressive!

Gators win first game of the season
Happy Gator fans everywhere! The Florida Gator football season is off to a good start. The team played well and had little trouble beating Florida Atlantic Saturday night 41-3. I thought John Brantley had a great game at QB and with Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey running the ball, the Gators were able to score easily.

Let the season begin!
Watching College Gameday on ESPN this morning, and like all football fans, I am excited that the season is finally here. To me this brings back memories of my high school years such as: playing in the Cowpens High School marching band at football games all over Spartanburg area, our championship football season when I was a senior, COOLER WEATHER! Well, I could go on and on, but for us Gator fans we are looking forward to getting to know our new coach at Florida (Will Muschamp) and seeing if QB John Brantley has improved from last year.
