This was by far the closest and most intense game of the year so far! (Please don't make me nervous like that, it's bad for the heart!) The Ole Miss Rebels came on strong and they were within 3 points of a tie (27-24) in the 4th quarter. With another field goal to make the score
30-24, the Gator defense was able to stop the Rebels on their final possession. Going for it on 4th down, the Rebels came up a few yards short of a 1st down and the Gator offense took over as the fourth quarter winded down. Quarterback Tim Tebow just ran the ball over and over as the clock wound down. He took a knee with about 40 seconds to go and the game was over.
